LIS Hotels

The LIS Hotels brand was launched in 2015 with the opening of the LIS Baixa Boutique Hotel on Rua dos Douradores in the heart of downtown Lisbon.

This proposal in the hotel business was born from the reconstruction of a ruined building dating from 1876, which has undergone a major intervention. From the wooden floors to the Pombaline cages, hand-painted tiles fired in wood-burning ovens and the majestic stone pillars, no detail has been overlooked in order to preserve the nobility of a building from the Pombaline era after the 1755 earthquake.

This project grew and matured, and so we extended the brand to the Hotel LIS Batalha, located opposite the Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitória, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and classified as one of the 7 Wonders of Portugal.

We have developed our own personality as a brand, with high quality standards that make us want to improve day after day. To achieve this, we have a team of passionate professionals whose enthusiasm and professionalism are the driving force. This strength is what allows us to provide the best service to our customers, making every stay a memorable experience, whether you are travelling for leisure, work, alone or with your family.
